Bevî-píêbo Fêqê (/ˈbevɪ/ /ˈp˔ɘbo/ [golden] [claw]) is a temperate Small Town located in the G̈ifêvîlêg̈êyê Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Bevî-píêbo Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Bevî-píêbo Fêqê was founded by Alyar Tsîthê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Bevî-píêbo Fêqê receives an average of 269 cm/y (105 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Overview

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê was founded durring the early 10th century, by Alyar Tsîthê. The establishment of Bevî-píêbo Fêqê suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Bevî-píêbo Fêqê which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Bevî-píêbo Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of restrictive packed earth streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The brittle defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are smiling, quietly exchanging words with a friend, or simply enjoying the day as they work. It reminds you of an evening at home as everyone dined, having run out of things to talk about and embraced the savory meal before them.

Civic Infrastructure

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Bevî-píêbo Fêqê.

Cultural Notes

Bevî-píêbo Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

In Bevî-píêbo Fêqê every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Bevî-píêbo Fêqê was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Bevî-píêbo Fêqê lost 129 people, 139 livestock, and 55 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 142, when members of Bevî-píêbo Fêqê's militia enacted an operation to destroy a particular port. The operation was complicated by extremely hostile wildlife which took many out of action. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in defeat for Bevî-píêbo Fêqê's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Bevî-píêbo Fêqê's bards, historians, and legend keepers.

History
